Birdfulness in Forests and Lagoons
Wings for the Soul
A wellness experience and a deep connection with nature
EcoPeruTours
Birdwatching is much more than a nature-based activity — it is a way to reconnect with life. Various scientific studies show that seeing or listening to birds can reduce anxiety, improve mood, and strengthen emotional well-being. Research published in Scientific Reports (White et al., 2022; Hammerschmidt et al., 2022) and Ecological Economics (Methorst et al., 2021) confirms that contact with birds and their diversity is linked to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

- Wear closed-toe walking shoes, as trails may include uneven or natural terrain.
- Bring a light jacket or sweater, since forests and lagoons can be cool, especially in the morning.
